About our chorus: Crossroads of the South Chorus is the Jackson, Mississippi chapter of Sweet Adelines, Int. We give performances in the Jackson area and compete each spring with other choruses in Heart of Dixie Region 23. We invite any woman interested in singing barbershop style harmony to visit our rehearsals and audition to become a member. We are happy to sing for the public and schedule performances as we are invited and as we are available. Contact us anytime for more information.

About Sweet Adelines and Barbershop: Barbershop harmony is unaccompanied singing in four parts called lead, tenor, baritone, and bass. Sweet Adelines International is an organization for women with the purpose of educating its members in the art of barbershop singing. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her range. Once she becomes a Sweet Adeline, she will belong to a group that enjoys the fun and excitement of performing as it promotes harmony and friendship among women.
